Texas German is Dying Out

Texas German is dying . That is a darn shame. The Hill Country is full of little German towns. It will be sad when the last Texas German dies because a unique dialect will die with him or her.
Comments:
A similar impact of the unpopularity of Germany in WW1 and 2 occurred in the very fertile Barossa wine region near Adelaide, Australia. The Barossa was settled by Germans also around 150 years ago and until recently their descendants made Australia's best wine - particularly Rieslings.
