Why the Pentagon Fears the Death of this Particular Soldier

Fred at Fred on Everything talks about the death of a young marine, Lance Corporal Joshua Bernard, and what the Pentagon does not want people to see.

Long time bans on photographs of flag draped coffins were obvious censorship.

Embedding of journalists, dependent on keeping onside with their army units, is more subtle censorship.

If uncensored photos are taken that can get the US and allies out of Afgh and Iraq - such photos/footage are a good thing.
