Your bio says you're divorced. I'm some weird combination of single and married, that is, my husband works out of state, home about three weekends per month, and we're not close.
I remember the dating scene fondly, probably because I never had much of a goal for it. (Strange that I ended up married with kids!) I truly enjoyed dating; you can learn something new from every person you meet, no matter if they're a good match or not.
I wonder what it would be like to date these days, and at an older age. AIDS. Bodies that aren't young. Blended families. Probably it would be a lot different than before. But no matter the age, we are primates and do best with companionship and social ties, and in most cases mates if possible.
