The Art of Peace

From today's Daily Zen website:

The Art of Peace begins with you.
Work on yourself and your
Appointed task in the Art of Peace.
Everyone has a spirit that
Can be refined, a body that
Can be trained in some manner,
A suitable path to follow.
You are here for no other purpose than
To realize your inner divinity and
Manifest your innate enlightenment.
Foster peace in your own life and
Then apply the Art to all that you encounter.

Comments:
-#Two-
One does not need buildings, money, power, or status to practice the Art of Peace. Heaven is right where you are standing, and that is the place to train.

-#One Hundred Seven-
The Divine is not something high above us. It is in heaven, it is in earth, it is inside of us.

Theres one hundred fourteen of these sayings. I'm still reading them.

Speaking of peace...I watched the movie "Peaceful Warrior" last night, I thought it was good. Have you seen it yet?

No Kathy, I haven't seen that movie. What book of sayings are you reading?

It's called The Art of Peace click on the link and it will take you there.

The quote from Daily Zen is #1 of the one hundred fourteen sayings.
