Sudden Radical Thought
I was standing outside Discount Tire waiting for them to open watching people commuting to work and this thought came out of nowhere.
"What if this World is Heaven?"
It's not an original thought. I'm sure countless others have thought it as well, but it's so at variance with what we are taught. Jesus said the same thing, "The Kingdom of Heaven is all around you and you don't see it".

I don't think Jesus said it quite like that.
Also you don't know what Heaven is, that is why you are wondering about it all the time, getting all these other earthly things mixed up with it. You just need to get it understood, this confusion is a sign of that need.

Maybe it is! :) :) :) Perhaps we should live like it is and see what happens!?
"The Father’s kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don’t see it.” (GOSPEL OF THOMAS, 113)

I realized after I posted it that it wasn't an original thought. Harlan Ellison had a short story about Earth as it exists now being a paradise compared to life on other planets where the suffering is much greater. Those people's consciousnesses are allowed to come here for a lifetime as a reward or vacation and live as a human. It's a metaphor for Heaven and Earth I suppose. Ellison is one of those writers who shakes you up.
