Being Fully Human
One of us has awakened fully. I rejoice. I am coming awake as well, but I can't always maintain the wakeful state. Trying to remember the feeling as much as possible and not lose myself in useless thinking. I don't know what to write. Does anything I write matter any more? The only thing that matters is to quit playing hide and seek - to just be fully human. What next?

I don't understand what you mean by useless thinking. Thinking is thinking, useful or useless. But if you didn't judge your thinking, would there be useful of useless thinking? If you were simply aware of your thoughts and didn't consciously push them away or try to control them, would they bother you?
Fully? How do you know?
How can you lose yourself? Wherever you go, there you are.

I don't know about the Post itself, but those comment questions are the best I have ever heard. Amen.
Lose yourself to find yourself. Losing the attachment to who you "think" you are is "losing" yourself. Anytime one defines oneslf by job or role or possessions, that identity is false or temporary. Uncovering layers of illusion to find the core of truth. That's the only way I can describe it, Julie. ;-)
Imemine, useless thought to me is just thought for it's own sake. Compulsive thought that has no purpose other than to distract one from experiencing life fully. But what do I know. It's just an opinion.
Jim, yeah. it wasn't much of an entry. :)I've been trying to experience life rather than contemplate what life is. Not that I've succeeded.:)

Well, to lose yourself in useless thinking is probably what enlightenment is all about. Unless you still want to achieve anything or something else.
